Shri Kishore Purswani is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate with a Post-Graduation in Engineering Materials. He is a Fellow of Indian Institution of Engineers (IIE), Qualified lead assessor for TQM, ISO 9000, and NABL. He is trained in Six Sigma by GE and Universal Measuring Concepts at Carl Zeiss, Germany. He was also on the Board of National Board of Quality Promotion. He is also a certified Emotional Intelligence Trainer.
During his enriching and dedicated career span of 38 years at BHEL (8 years in Corporate Office and 30 years in Heavy Electricals Plant Bhopal), he has led different Functions, Strategic Business Verticals, Processes, and Initiatives. He has spearheaded various improvement initiatives both at the plant level and Corporate level.
He superannuated as Executive Director, BHEL, and headed People Strategy and Corporate Learning & Development verticals, taking care of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and People Development initiatives. He also headed Corporate Operations and Corporate Quality Functions of BHEL at Corporate Office. He also headed Central Stamping Unit & Fabrication Plant at Jagdishpur. Shri Purswani initiated and led the integration of CSU and Fabrication Plants at Jagdishpur. A well-accomplished Quality expert through-out revitalized the RCA movement in BHEL and complete standardization of painting, packing, and storage & preservative procedures across the organization.
As Product Manager and Head of Hydro Products at Bhopal, he has contributed to designing manufacturing and supply of equipment for various Hydro Electric Plants of the country.
He has been instrumental in steering Business Excellence initiatives, ISO standards implementation, Employee Satisfaction Surveys, CII Exim awards, Company related Information Sharing System (CRISP), and many other communication initiatives.
He has delivered more than 500 lectures on Quality-Related and HR-related topics.
